I have been trying different textures and surfaces and trying to get the softness or hardness of the surfaces.
I had a book by Boris in it he talked about the need to learn to get the feel of surfaces, so that stone and marble are hard fur soft. I am going to do objects with different surfaces, metal stone and of course fur.
